KOHow do I paint on clothes without it washing off??
Fabric paint and heat setting!!
You can buy fabric paint at the store, I recommend @jacquardproducts (I used this brand when starting my Upcycling painting journey!) but I like to make my own using acrylic paint (that I already had laying around) and textile medium! All you have to do is mix the acrylic paint and textile medium to make your fabric paint.
The last important step is heat setting!!! You can use an iron to press over your design. Put parchment paper over the design to protect it.
***IMPORTANT!! When taking care of your garment and washing it, please wash on cold and a gentle cycle. When drying, make sure your setting is on LOW heat!! Or just air dry!!
