SAYosemite Firefall: 02/21/2026 - Magical ❄️
Every year in February, something unreal happens in Yosemite!
For a few magical minutes at sunset, the light hits at the perfect angle… and the waterfall glows like molten lava.
It’s called the Yosemite Firefall 🔥
But here’s what you need to know before you go:
📅 When to visit:
Mid–to–late February (usually around Feb 10–25).
You need:
• Clear skies
• Enough snowmelt for the waterfall to flow
• Perfect sunset angle
It does NOT happen every day — timing is everything.
📍 Where to see it:
Best views are from the Yosemite Valley floor near El Capitan Picnic Area. Arrive EARLY — people line up hours before sunset.
🎟 Park Entry:
$35 per vehicle (valid for 3 days).
During Firefall season, reservations may be required — check the park website before planning. No reservations in 2026.
⏳ Pro tip:
Get there 2–3 hours before sunset. Bring warm layers. It gets cold fast at sunset.
Save this for next February.
Witness it all at once in your life!🔥
