KIWorksheets aren’t the enemy.
But sometimes… they limit what’s possible.
In this video, I’m showing one example of how a “typical workbook exercise” (gap fills, matching, writing) can become something far more motivating.
When children:
– build it
– manipulate it
– play with it
– describe it to a partner
They speak more.
They engage more.
They remember more.
This is what I mean when I say crafts instead of worksheets.
And this is just one example from a short 4-part series I recorded.

LEGoldilocks retelling 👱♀️
The children have loved our traditional tales and live retelling the story of Goldilocks, being the big daddy bear, mummy bear and baby bear. This created so much space for language, it was great to hear it. Using the cards and masks from @twinklresources
