CL❌ Things I Throw in Thermos for my Teenagers ❌
Parmesan & Bacon Pasta
This recipe can be made to taste. I am used to throwing how much of what I need in to fit my flasks. You can adjust accordingly or for a smaller child.
Also you will have to forgive me …. I forgot the count the butter. So 3 core ingredients plus olive oil and optional butter.
Ingredients for 2 flasks:
150 - 200g Pasta of choice
90f Bacon lardons
2 tbsp oil olive oil
1 small knob of butter
80-100g grated Parmesan
Add boiling water to your food flask and cover. Leave whilst you cook.
Bring water to boil in a pan and add pasta - cook for 6 mins only .
Add the olive oil to a pan and fry the bacon lardons for about 4 - 5 mins. Add the butter.
Use a cup to scoop out some of the pasta water from the pasta.
Drain and add the pasta to the lardons.
Add about 50 mls of pasta water and the parmesan. Stir and add more water if needed after a minute. You want a creamy sauce.
Add pasta to thermos. Cover.
It’ll continue to cook in its own heat - hence why I undercook it in the morning. Who likes soggy pasta? No thanks!
