FLIn this video, you might notice that sometimes I need to apply balm before wiping the pigment with cotton, while other times a simple cotton pad is enough. So where does the difference come from?
✨ First pair of brows: I used a hybrid pigment. And just a quick note - there are many types of hybrid pigments, depending on how much binder they contain.
The one I used in this video is the type with a higher amount of binders, which makes the pigment more adhesive and causes it to dry quickly on the skin. Because of that, wiping with cotton alone won’t clean it properly. That’s why I need to apply a layer of balm first to soften the pigment before wiping.
✨ Second pair of brows: I used an inorganic pigment (which contains no binders). This type doesn’t adhere or dry quickly, so a single cotton pad is all I need to wipe and check the strokes.
And since we’re already talking about pigments, I have a question for you: How many types of pigment do you usually use on one pair of eyebrows?
For me, sometimes I use just one. But in certain cases, I combine hybrid + inorganic to achieve the best results. So, why do we need to combine them?
