Rent a car or bike — the best fields are on small roads between villages.
When to go:
Mid-April is peak. Blooms shift with weather so check local forecasts before you go.
One important thing:
Stay on the road edges unless explicitly allowed otherwise. Walking into the fields damages the bulbs and the farmers’ livelihood.
