This passive stretch helps open your shoulders in a way that translates directly to your handstand. Start by passing yourself through a loop attached to a weight, ensuring the loop sits just under your neckline to protect your cervical spine. First, push your shoulders up as if you were in a handstand—this is key. Then, let the weight assist in opening your shoulders while making sure your ribcage stays in. Hold for up to 2 minutes and repeat if your shoulders are stiff.
