FLThis is how I unlocked my side split.
Instead of trying to fit my flexibility work before or after my workouts, I started treating my flexibility training as the workout itself.
I hit the side split once per week with sufficient volume/intensity, prioritized recovery between sessions, and simply applied the principle of progressive overload over time📈
TLDR:
1️⃣ Start with warmup/prep work
2️⃣ 3 sets of horse stance work + hip capsule stretch
3️⃣ 3 sets of side split push-ups + hip abduction
