I’ve had my Dewalt Flexvolt grinder (DCG414) for about 6 years now. It’s been a great grinder with zero problems. This video from the World of Concrete in Vegas shows some added features of their newest model that will be released some time this year. The Side Detect Handle makes it safer so that if you release the button on the handle, and the disc stops rotating, you won’t be able to activate it again until that red handle button is pressed in. This way if you get jarred or almost drop the grinder, it won’t keep rotating to keep you and your fingers out of danger. The new model number will be DCG418SDH (Side Detect Handle) Look out for it this year.
