HIStretch it out! Having issues with adjusting and your power?
Take a look at video of your swing from the side view like this. Do you see your hands drifting forward as your stride forward? If so? You’re losing the stretch that should happen.
Similar to what happens when you stretch a rubberband, we want your hands to stay back as your body moves forward, to create potential energy 👉 Which then turns into kinetic energy 👉leading to max power output.
If your hands drift forward you’ll also have a more difficult time stopping your swing when you don’t want to swing, and you’ll have a hard time adjusting to different pitches because you can’t get on plane early.
