If you’re looking for something with more performance, you should definitely check out their 13” and 16” which have more options. The prices are definitely higher in comparison to other laptops, but in theory when it’s time to upgrade you would just need to upgrade the main board and keep the rest of the laptop and screen, saving you money. let's build a cute bubblegum pink laptop together 🌸 this unit was sent to me for review from Framework! @frameworkcomputer cooked with the color combinations for the Laptop 12, I love the concept of of a modular, upgradable laptop which opens the door for more customization and suuppper easy repairs, ultimately reducing waste and putting power back into the hands of consumers. The Laptop 12 isn't the most powerful system, but is more than enough for productivity and some light video editing. You can bend the screen completely backwards and use it as a tablet too! Their Laptop 16 even has a removable graphics module, which is super cool. #tech #pc

Framework Laptop 13 Review: Wait, Did I Actually Have Fun With a PC? Framework’s build quality has improved since its original laptops. You can buy one put together already, but I opted for the DIY kit which comes with a laptop chassis with battery, CPU, and cooling unit pre-installed. The memory, storage, keyboard, screen bezel, and individual expansion cards to vary up your port selection will need to be installed. Even taking my time to make sure the RAM and SSD were slotted in correctly, the building process took me less time than it took to unbox every component. The bezels and keyboard snap onto the frame with magnets, rather than any adhesive. After I had my laptop finished with Windows 11 installed I had a device that felt more “mine” than most other laptops could claim to be. Tap our link in bio to read our full review.
