FOSteve Jobs, born February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, was an American technology visionary and co-founder of Apple. Adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs, he dropped out of Reed College in 1972 but continued exploring design, engineering, and philosophy. All interests that would later shape his approach to technology. In 1976, he co-founded Apple with Steve Wozniak, launching the Apple I and helping spark the personal computer revolution.
After leaving Apple in 1985, Jobs founded NeXT and acquired Pixar, where he helped transform the animation industry, leading to the release of Toy Story in 1995, the first fully computer-animated feature film. When he returned to Apple in 1997, he led one of the most remarkable turnarounds in corporate history, introducing products like the iMac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad, innovations that reshaped multiple industries and helped grow Apple into a company worth over $3 trillion by 2025.
Known for his perfectionism, design obsession, and minimalist philosophy, Jobs remained one of the most influential figures in modern technology. He passed away from pancreatic cancer on October 5, 2011, leaving behind a personal net worth of approximately $10.2 billion, and a legacy that continues to shape how the world communicates, creates, and connects.
