I know some of you didn’t join us on this one, but hopefully you’ll join us in the next, but bug thanks to @booksnbells, @lynn_of_velaris, @i.dont.give.a.fantasy.funk, @mandathemoodreader, @enchanted_zunshine, @shona_reads_in_devon, @eniko_reads_books, @opusbookspooler, @bakedbookie, @alexcrayonsbooks, @cardcatalogdreams, @bloodandmoondust, @quackinstacks, @kdubreads27, @readsbyrew We started this group with a plan for a few Pratchett fans to introduce a bunch of people to Pratchett’s Discworld who haven’t tried it before. If anyone else wants to start Discworld, or just wants to read some Pratchett then let me know in the comments. This is one of my all time favourites, and my favourite place to start the Discworld. The cast of characters is second to none, the satire is on point, and it takes me through a whole spectrum of emotion. sitting in the park, reading a book in the sunshine after a long week of work is the best feeling it’s been a while since I’ve posted — law school finals followed directly by the start of my summer job truly exhausted me!! now that I’ve recovered a bit, I’m back to reading for pleasure on the weekends. 📖 GUARDS GUARDS by Terry Pratchett I’ve been struggling with this one for a while and may give up. I love GOOD OMENS but Discworld may be just a bit *too* disjointed for me.
