Kendim de sık kullandığım ve sık sorduğunuz için bahsetmek istedim. Oldukça kullanışlı ve güncel bir site. İçerik detaylarından bahsederken bilimsel dayanakları da mutlaka alta ekliyorlar.
🤍Aramak istediğiniz ürünü yazıp çıkan seçenekler arasından tercih ediyorsunuz. Ürünü burada bulamazsanız da sitenin sağ üst kısmındaki “decode inci” kısmından fotoğraf çekerek ya da kendiniz yazarak inceleme yapabiliyorsunuz.
🤍Kısaca inci decoder’ın anlamından da bahsedeyim. Kozmetik içeriklerin tüm dünyada ortak tanımlanması için “inci” isimleri var. Bu inci kelimesi “international nomenclature of cosmetic ingredients” yani “uluslararası kozmetik malzemeler sınıflandırması” anlamına geliyor. Bu isimlerin çözülmesi anlamına geliyor yani. Size nasıl yapıldığını göstererek tek tek ürün incelemesi yapmak yerine balık tutmayı öğrenelim istedim😋

Rating an ingredient as good or bad, or on a number scale, or anything similarly is not how you decipher safety.
Things that actually matter include the route of exposure (inhalation, topical, oral, IM/IV, etc), the concentration, accumulation, etc.
Good thing that everything is evaluated before safety guidelines are posted.
Lose the anxiety, delete those apps.

CALet’s talk about “clean beauty”… because the truth is, the word clean means nothing in the beauty industry. And it’s completely unregulated, which means brands can slap it on a label while still using questionable ingredients. Shocking? I know but it’s the truth.💯
So how do you spot real clean beauty from the fakes? 👇
🔍 Check the first ingredient — is it just water? That means your product is watered down from the start and 70% or more of it is literally DILUTED.💧Look for active botanicals or nutrient-rich bases instead.
🔍 Watch for fragrance/parfum — this can hide dozens of undisclosed chemicals. If a brand isn’t transparent, that’s a red flag.🚩
🔍 Look beyond buzzwords — “natural,” “green,” and even “organic” can still be loopholes. Always read the label.
🔍 Transparency matters — true clean brands list every ingredient clearly and have nothing to hide.
Watch For:
🚫 Fragrance/parfum (umbrella for hidden chemicals)
🚫 Phthalates, parabens, PEGs
🚫 Sulfates (SLS/SLES)
🚫 Formaldehyde releasers (like DMDM hydantoin, quaternium-15)
🚫 Endocrine disruptors (like oxybenzone in sunscreens)

ℹ️ DMDM hydantoin is a formaldehyde donor. This means that a shampoo with DMDM hydantoin releases modest amounts of formaldehyde during the shelf life of a personal care or cosmetic product in order to function as a preservative and antimicrobial ingredient.
ℹ️ Exposure to formaldehyde, even in trace amounts, is hazardous over time (just like sodium lauryl sulfate). This ingredient has been known to be harmful to humans because it can cause cancer and, to a lesser extent, skin irritation.
ℹ️Formaldehyde is mostly absorbed by inhalation and contact with the skin. When formaldehyde-containing cosmetics are applied to the hair or skin, it has the potential to enter your eyes and nose.
