Of all the plants we grew, tomatoes have been one of the most productive 🍅🥬... We have been getting consistent harvests from the three towers we set up since the month began. This is just the view from one tower... ☺️ We harvest a full bowl of tomatoes from our vertical tower gardens twice a week. 🍅🌿 Sometimes we are forced to harvest more before the ones we have run out so they don't over ripen on the plant! 🍃 We will soon start supplying the neighbours with tomatoes, in addition to leafy greens. ☺️🍅 If you have a limited space in your balcony, backyard, rooftop or greenhouse, vertical hydroponic tower gardens are perfect for you! 🌿🥬 You can save tons on groceries every month, and even make extra income from the sale of such surplus produce! 🍅🍃 The tomatoes are super flavourful too, which is a great plus. Whether you’re growing veggies, fruits, or flowers, here’s how to get these beauties started: 🍴 Artichoke – Sow seeds indoors. Provide bright light and transplant when soil warms. 🌿 Leek – Start indoors. Sow seeds thinly and transplant when seedlings are pencil-thick. 🧅 Onion – Sow indoors. Thin seedlings and transplant to beds when soil is workable. 🍓 Strawberry – Start seeds indoors for first-year fruiting. Sow on the surface and keep warm for germination. 🌼 Marigold – Sow indoors. Transplant outside after frost danger passes. 🌸 Snapdragon – Start indoors. Surface sow seeds and press lightly into the soil. 🌸 Viola/Pansy – Sow indoors. Keep soil cool and transplant early for spring blooms. 🌸 Delphinium – Sow indoors and chill seeds in the fridge for 2 weeks before germination. 🌸 Foxglove – Start indoors.
