In this video I show how to check if HPET is forced on and safely turn it off so Windows uses the smoother timers instead.

Vereinfacht gesagt werden Aufgaben von der CPU auf die GPU übertragen – die CPU muss weniger rechnen, dein Input-Lag kann sinken und deine allgemeine Performance wird verbessert. Gerade bei Systemen mit älteren oder schwächeren CPUs funktioniert das oft besonders gut.

I remember back in 2018 I visited my cousin to play some Fortnite on his big screen 60 inch TV. As soon as I started playing I noticed something was off because there was SO MUCH input lag. Then I told him about game mode on the TV and he was shocked 😂 He’s been playing on this TV for months without knowing about this!
Nowadays the most modern TVs like the one in this video from @hisense_usa are smart enough to detect if you are playing a game and will turn on this mode automatically. But if you use a TV to game and not a gaming monitor, be sure to check this setting!
