The high-level meeting focused on developing joint frameworks that will guarantee equitable access to employment opportunities for youths across all regions of the country. Both leaders emphasized the need for policies that reflect federal character principles to foster unity and bridge regional disparities. Speaking during the meeting, Hon. Speaking during an interactive session with journalists at the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja, Mr. Oladele described the media as a strategic partner in fostering fairness, inclusiveness, and unity in government appointments, employment, and infrastructure distribution. “In a country as diverse and complex as Nigeria, information is power, and communication is a bridge,” Mr. Oladele said. “The media plays a critical role in shaping perceptions, informing the public, and holding institutions accountable. Kayode Oladele has expressed great satisfaction with the leadership of “Egba Lokan Agenda 2027 “, a rainbow coalition movement formed to identify and support the emergence of a credible Egba indigene as governor of Ogun State in 2027, for recognizing the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Aremo Solomon Olamilekan Adeola popularly known as Yayi as one of Egba hopefuls to lead the Gateway State. In a release signed by its leader, Prof. Yemi Oke, SAN, the group states that a number of Egba sons and daughters have been identified and or rumored as likely aspirants for Ogun State Governorship seat in the year 2027 and went further to give a full list of the potential governorship aspirants of Egba origin. KAYODE OLADELE, ACTING EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN, FEDERAL CHARACTER COMMISSION, AS CHAIRMAN OF THE OCCASION AT THE 56TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION OF SENATOR SOLOMON OLAMILEKAN ADEOLA (YAYI) Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, Our celebrant, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, once said: “I am going to celebrate something today.” In his unique way, he has always chosen to celebrate not with mere words or private gatherings, but with empowerment programmes that directly impact the lives of the people. Just a few weeks ago, we set up a committee to organise today’s empowerment initiative, and the results are remarkable. As we gather here in Ilaro, the headquarters of Ogun West Senatorial District, 102 Community Development Associations (CDAs) across Ogun State are simultaneously receiving 102 transformers, which will serve 405 communities.
