EKThe Kingmaking Process in Isolo Kingdom
The process of selecting a new king in the Isolo Kingdom follows a time-honored tradition, guided by the wisdom and scrutiny of the Four Kingmakers (Afobaje).
This process equally aligns with the regulations of the Local Government and the State Government.
All traditional rites and rituals are duly performed, and government standards are fully met.
It is only God who makes kings.
The path to the throne is often beyond human understanding.
Even if a million contenders emerge, only one can ascend the throne, and when that happens, we must see it as the divine will of the Almighty.
If the chosen one has emerged, it is our collective responsibility to support him in good faith.
Spreading bitterness, falsehood, and unfounded allegations only drags the kingdom backwards.
Such actions do no good to the land, the new king, or the people.
The newly crowned Osolo has publicly declared his willingness to be investigated by any police unit if there are claims of misconduct or wrongdoing.
Every road to greatness often attracts envy, lies, and resentment, especially from those who cannot accept reality.
The Four Kingmakers and the good people of Isolo stand firmly with their new king.
They appreciate the transparent and sincere selection process, both by the Afobaje and the government.
The video shown captures a traditional crowning ceremony at the Kingdom Square, known as “Esa,” performed by the Four Kingmakers in accordance with custom.
