DEI feel like a broken record but I posted an unboxing video of my handmade Kitchen Witch from @witchesforkitchens which went viral a year ago and since then countless people have fallen prey to purchasing cheap overseas knockoffs.
- you cannot expect to get a quality, handmade item with that level of detail for $14 bucks
- Overconsumption culture has normalized buying a mass amount of cheap goods
- artisans deserve to be fairly compensated
- I’d rather buy less and have fewer items with better quality than over consume on cheap goods that will likely end up in a landfill 🤷🏻♀️
