I grappled a lot with when would be the right time to share about my diagnosis and how I could see a silver lining to something that was negatively impacting my life. Ultimately, I knew I wanted to not only raise awareness but find a way to give back to an organization that helped me in my journey. I am so grateful to @knowyourlemons for their easy to understand materials and stellar app that sends me reminders on when to do my monthly breast exams and schedule appointments.
