ELThere’s no words to describe the magnitude of el templo de Kukulcán aka the feathered serpent.
The temple is designed to function as a solar calendar: the four staircases each have 91 steps, which, when added together and combined with the top platform, equal 365 steps.
You really do feel tiny once you see it in person. My wife and I loved walking the ruins, and learning about her ancestral primos los Maya.
