My pants are the first landers that I made (probably 4 or 5 years ago…) but I took them up recently and then didn’t like them- so this morning I reattached the cut off ends from my waste basket and now they’re perfect! They are woollen so perfect for this cold day! . And I made the kid. She’s so freakin’ cool! . I’ve mentioned before that finding bottoms that fit me can be frustrating, and taking the time to make some that fit just right, is an act of showing myself care. I had planned to make a pair of #landerpants from this bull denim from @needlework_hamilton since winter, and was so excited to see I could just BARELY get a pair of shorts out of them as well! The scrap pile was small enough to fit easily in my palm. I was so pleased! The shorts and pants are both made from the #landerpants pattern by @truebias with the zipper expansion, though I did hack the pants quite a bit to have more traditional pockets, as well as a tapered leg instead of the normal fit. The tank was gifted to me by @under.the.elms It’s the #blommatank pattern by @paradisepatterns and the pattern is free!!! Thanks to @siri_kate for helping me troubleshoot some little fiddly things with the pants as I made some changes to the original pattern. . I’ve fancied a pair of leopard print trousers for so long, and having just made a pair of @truebias #landerpants that I’m totally in love with - (I will post about them soon!) I knew that going for a TNT pattern was the best thing I have downloaded the zipper expansion pack for the trousers.
