Pulling together a list of learning resources! Here are 5 we use: 1. Reading Eggs / Mathseeds (aligned with the UK curriculum but bitesize and interactive) 2. Geoguessr (geography app) which we use together with our globe. 3. Fun Kids Science Quest (podcast with curious questions we listen over brekkie) 4. BBC Bitesize (website with games & videos linked to subjects like history) 5. Synthesis Tutor (it's a more visual way of learning maths- e.g. they show how art can be created using only the numbers 0 and 1) If everyone adds 1 resource we will soon have a good collection 🤩 I'll add some more in the comments later. ✉️ Save this if you want to come back #homeeducationuk #learningresources

ad Their little imaginations 🥹❤️ I first discovered @learningresourcesuk last Christmas when my brother and his wife bought Alfie his Coding Critters Rumble and Bumble. He LOVES it and still plays with it now, so when they asked if we’d like to be part of their Christmas campaign this year I absolutely jumped at the chance. If you’ve followed us for a while you’ll know I’m obsessed with fun, educational toys and Alf is a NumberBlocks superfan. He’s literally taught himself the 2, 4, 11 and 12 times tables just from watching it after school 🤯❤️ and I bought and posted about the @LearningResourcesUK NumberBlocks games before - they’ve been a huge win for us. But what I love most about Learning Resources toys is that they have something for every child’s age and interest. Ada’s all about arts and crafts, Alf is deep into dinosaurs and STEM, and somehow Learning Resources manage to make toys that feel exciting and secretly educational at the same time. We spent the afternoon playing with their new gifts and honestly… their imaginations just took off. I loved seeing how they combined each others toys too. Alf put “headphones” on each of his dinosaurs for fireworks - he wears his ear defenders for overstimulation. I can’t cope! 🥹❤️❤️‍🩹This is exactly the kind of play I want for them - creative, hands-on, curious and full of discovery.
