KA✨ If you’re lifting weights, the scale might go UP and that’s not a bad thing. ✨
Women are often told to chase a smaller number, but here’s what actually happens when you strength train:
• Muscle is denser than fat (it takes up less space)
• You may weigh more while looking leaner
• Your body holds more water + glycogen as you recover and get stronger
• Your metabolism, bone density, and hormone health improve
So if you’re lifting and the scale isn’t moving or even creeping up,that doesn’t mean it’s “not working.”
It often means your body is recomposing, not failing.
Instead of asking “What does the scale say?”
Try asking:
✔️ How do my clothes fit?
✔️ Am I getting stronger?
✔️ Do I feel more confident in my body?
Strong women don’t shrink themselves, they build themselves 💪🏼
Save this if you need the reminder.
Drop a 💕 if you’ve ever let the scale mess with your head.
