SP🗣️ What is a lisp?! It’s the distortion of /s/ and /z/ sounds. Here are the 3 common types:
1. **Frontal Lisp**: Sounds like ‘th’ instead of ‘s’.
2. **Lateral Lisp**: Air escapes sides of the tongue, sounds wet or slushy.
3. **Dental Lisp**: Tongue touches teeth, creating a distorted sound.
A lisp typically shouldn’t persist after age 4. Early intervention is key! ❤️
