Aloe Vera Juice During Pregnancy ⚠️ | What It Does to Your Baby Inside
Aloe vera juice is often marketed as “natural” and “healthy” — but during pregnancy, you need to be careful.
⚠️ Why it’s risky:
• Some aloe products contain latex compounds that may stimulate uterine contractions
• It can act as a strong laxative → dehydration & electrolyte imbalance
• Limited safety research in pregnancy
While topical aloe (on skin) is generally considered safe, oral aloe vera juice is not recommended unless your doctor specifically approves it.
Pregnancy isn’t the time to experiment with detox drinks or gut cleanses.
Safer hydration options:
💧 Water
🥛 Milk
🥥 Coconut water (moderate)
🍊 Fresh citrus water
