McDonald’s once put up an empty billboard in the middle of a city and it turned out to be a genius advertisement!
So McDonald’s realised something interesting. A lot of people start craving McDonald’s Fries and Burgers once they smell it.
So they put up huge empty billboards with no logos or photos, but just the smell of their fries near their restaurants.
And then, they let the cravings start on its own
People could look away, but they had no option but to smell it. And since this was in the middle of the city, thousands of people passed by and started craving McDonalds. It was localised advertising at its finest.
