And don’t be afraid to switch grips every few mesocycles to keep things fresh.⁠ ⁠ 💪 Make sure the chest support is back far enough to let you hit a max loaded stretch without bottoming the machine out.⁠ ⁠ 💪 Start the movement by pulling your elbows back, and as the motion nears the halfway point to your chest, arch your mid back, stick your chest out, and retract your shoulder blades to finish.⁠ ⁠ 💪 As soon as you begin the descent (eccentric), control the pace so that your back muscles are active.
