The Makers Lab had the privilege of supporting Dr. Nadhra Shahbaz, Associate Professor, LUMS, and her team in curating the multisensory exhibition on Maharaja Ranjit Singh's Toshakhana by crafting a detailed model of the Silver Bangla (Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s moving throne) at our wood and CNC lab. In her testimonial, Dr. Nadhra reflects on a collaborative process defined by care, precision, and a clear understanding of the exhibition’s requirements, resulting in a thoughtfully made model that supported the exhibition’s narrative and vision.

This up-cycling workshop privileges material by-products ✨remnants from the Makers Lab✨ in aims of creating a circular economy within our experimental educational spaces, embedding sustainability into our design practices and everyday lives. Such a delight to contribute to the atmosphere of this joyous evening and witness creativity in action. They participate in the Museum for All for reduced ticket prices for SNAP/EPT 💧 water fountains on both levels 🛗 there is a elevator to go up and downstairs 📕 story time the last 10 minutes before closing 🅿️ free street parking but can be hard to find. There are parking garages near by Strollers are discouraged due to space but some with really little ones had them. There is an under 3 area for toddlers.
