RAM prices are quietly climbing alongside the AI boom. As models scale and data centers expand, memory demand keeps increasing. It’s no longer just about raw compute RAM capacity and bandwidth are becoming critical to keeping everything running smoothly. Every AI workload depends on it. And that demand adds up fast. When supply can’t keep pace, prices respond This isn’t just a market shift. It’s infrastructure under pressure. Two sticks of RAM. $900. 🤯 No gold plating. No diamonds. Just silicon… and a lot of chaos behind the scenes. From AI models eating memory like snacks, to supply chains tighter than ever, and companies racing to build the fastest servers on the planet — RAM isn’t just for PCs anymore. It’s powering data centers, AI, cloud empires, and the future of computing itself. So yeah, when you see that price tag, you’re not buying “just RAM.” You’re buying a tiny piece of the global tech arms race. 💾⚡ #TechExplained #RAMPrices #AIBoom #FutureTech #SiliconShortage

This chimpanzee can arguably pass a memory test faster than most humans. In controlled cognitive experiments, chimpanzees can memorize the exact position of numbers on a screen after seeing them for just a fraction of a second - then recall them flawlessly once the numbers disappear. Humans, even when trained, consistently struggle to match this performance. The reason is neurological. Chimpanzee brains are optimized for rapid visual processing and instant recall - an evolutionary advantage shaped by survival in fast-changing environments. Research from institutions like Kyoto University shows this is not general intelligence, but task-specific superiority. Short-term visual memory is one domain where chimpanzees decisively outperform humans. Same biology. Different evolutionary priorities. Different results. When someone tells me they had a good childhood but can’t remember it, I don’t assume they’re lying to themselves. I usually hear a nervous system that learned early on to keep moving, keep functioning, keep it together. A lot of people think memory loss only happens when something really bad or obvious happened. But sometimes it happens when you didn’t have the luxury to just be a kid. When you had to be emotionally aware, responsible, or low maintenance. When your feelings weren’t dangerous, but they also weren’t centered. Your system might have learned, “Nothing bad is happening, so I’ll just stay neutral.” And over time, neutral turns into fog. So instead of asking what happened, I’m more curious about how you learned to be. Did you learn to stay composed? To not need much? To move on quickly? To be the one who’s fine? In therapy, we don’t force memories to come back. That can actually feel intrusive. We listen to what shows up now. The way you talk about yourself. The way your body reacts when you slow down. The moments where you say “I don’t know why this is hard.” Because even when the mind doesn’t remember, the nervous system does. And we work with that gently, at your pace. Nothing about this means your childhood was bad. It just tells me your system adapted. And adaptation is intelligent. You can save this, share it with someone who’s always said “I don’t remember,” or leave a comment with a 🤍 if this felt familiar. And if you’ve ever wondered why parts of your past feel blank, you’re not alone and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. The video is funny because it shows a cat with what looks like a very short memory span reacting to the same object over and over again. A metronome is ticking on the floor, and every time the cat looks at it, it gets confused or startled like it has never seen it before, even though it was just looking at it a second ago. The caption saying the cat has a “memory span of less than 1 bpm” makes the joke better, because bpm is used for the metronome speed, so it sounds like the cat forgets things slower than the metronome ticks. The humor comes from the repeated reaction and the idea that the cat keeps scaring itself because it can’t remember what the object is.

This Instagram reel is a raw and deeply moving portrayal of the devastating impact of memory loss on families. Watching a son ask his mother if she knows who he is, only to be met with a confused "I don't know," is truly heart-wrenching. It’s a moment that captures the "hardest day" for anyone in this situation, highlighting the emotional struggle of seeing a loved one slowly slip away. This short is a powerful reminder to cherish every moment with our parents while they still remember us, and to have compassion for those navigating the painful reality of dementia or Alzheimer's.

RAM prices are climbing as AI demand keeps accelerating. Every larger model, longer context window, and always-on system pulls more memory into play. Practicing flip turns out of the water helps our swimmers slow things down and really focus on the details that matter most. This drill builds tighter flips, stronger push-offs, and cleaner streamlines while improving feet positioning, body control, balance, and core strength. It also helps create muscle memory so these movements feel natural and automatic once they’re back in the pool. Strong habits here = faster, more confident turns in the water #swim #swimdrill #swimteam #swimming #flipturn

Do you think Alligators can be trained or tamed? The difference between those two words is very important when it comes to Gators. Trained would be asking if an Alligator can memorize patterns & performed behaviors based on that memory & positive reinforcement. Tamed would mean the alligator loves me & I can cuddle it without getting attacked. #alligator #alligators #gators #gators #reptile
