DRHere are my most recommended tools for literature search- especially when you’re short on time:
1. Elicit AI
A powerful free AI-based tool that retrieves multiple relevant research papers based on your prompt. It allows filtering by publication year and other parameters, making it easier to focus on recent evidence. The free version itself is sufficiently robust-fast, reliable, and highly efficient for literature screening.
2. Research Rabbit
An excellent free tool for visual literature mapping. It helps identify related articles through citation networks and topic clustering. A major advantage is its seamless integration with Zotero, enabling easy reference management and citation import.
While traditional databases such as Google Scholar and PubMed remain essential for comprehensive searches, these tools significantly accelerate the screening and discovery process.
. Tutorials for Elicit AI and Zotero are available on my account.
. Zotero: Free, reliable reference manager for citation organization.
I primarily recommend trusted, free tools that provide substantial value, although several paid alternatives are also available.
