MIBURNING QUESTION: What’s the RIGHT flooring for a mid mod kitchen update?
My answer is a question for you. What matters more to you, a forever kitchen floor or going easy on your feet and dishes.
For a truly bomb-proof kitchen floor you want tile.
But if you’d like your crockery to bounce when it hits the floor, you want something with a little more squish - cork, marmoleum or even hardwood would all be foot-friendlier!
We are closing in on our Twelve Days of Kitchen series, but don’t worry, I’m no where near done talking about mid mod kitchen updates.

So … tell me: Would you consider a cork floor in your kitchen? Run the hardwood straight through from the rest of the house? Decorate with vintage lino? Or is tile the only flooring that will do for you?
