Assailants: Four minors, all aged 17, who have since been apprehended by the police. Location: The incident began on an electric train from Chennai to Tiruttani and culminated near a secluded railway station in the Tiruvallur district. Motive/Cause: The situation escalated after Suraj objected to the minors allegedly threatening him with sharp weapons (machetes/sickles) and recording videos on their phones during the journey. The Assault: The minors took Suraj to a secluded spot and repeatedly attacked him with the sickles. They filmed the brutal assault, and the video was widely circulated online. Status: Suraj sustained severe injuries and is currently in receiving treatment at a hospital.
