The new NutriMill Harvest vs. my trusty MockMill: Which stone grain mill reigns supreme?
Both are gorgeous with real wood housings that look stunning on the counter, and they’re super easy to use. I tested them head-to-head milling white rice on the finest setting! The MockMill’s flour felt like silky powder while the NutriMill was impressively fine too.
The NutriMill has a slight learning curve with its dial in the hopper, but once you get it, it’s smooth sailing!
To see if that finer flour really matters, I baked identical sourdough sandwich loaves with each mill. Same recipe, same process… and honestly? They rose the same, looked identical, and even tasted the same (blind taste test with my husband confirmed - no difference!).
Bottom line: The most-asked question comes down to personal preference - budget, aesthetics, or that extra fineness. I’m truly impressed with the NutriMill Harvest; it’s a beauty that performs!
