I use Modulus X truss all the time for car rigs, stage builds, telehandler mounts, camera movement, you name it. After years of using it, here are some of the tricks I’ve picked up: -Mod X has chamfered edges around the utility holes, which makes working inside the truss much easier on your hands. -Truss end caps fit Mitchell heads and tiedowns, no special adapters needed. -Tightening or loosening truss? You only need one wrench because the flanges keep the nuts and bolts from spinning. -Hollander floor flanges let you pass speed rail through for super low-profile builds, perfect for saving space. -Connect Mod X at angles: MX 66 every 45° and MX 99 every 22.5°. -Integrate two-by-fours straight into Mod X for platforms or set builds, no washer plates needed. Flange bolts and truss design do the heavy lifting. -Fender washers are a quick way to attach cribbing or lumber, and eye bolts are great for mounting motors or steel cable. For maximum strength, go with rigging plates. PRO TIP: Hire grips with small hands or make sure you have long enough wrenches.
