BR@kimjongyeong8354 taught me how to throw medium sized moon jar with just 2kg of porcelain. Last time I visited Korea he showed me how to throw mini moon jar. After I told him I took a throwing class in Jingdezhen he said he will teach me how to throw a bigger one. And also told me that he can throw up to 50cm tall with one single throw not the two parts. Korean porcelain is very different from Jingdezhen porcelain. You can use relatively more water and it also feels quite different. And it’s fired in 1230 degrees Celsius while Jingdezhen porcelain is fired in 1300 or even higher. The video shows the entire process.
