MOAnother TOE FIX Tuesday
for maximizing your foot stability and MOVE ABILITY needs 💫
Reasons this may be a perfect ground up fix it mobility drill for you:
✓ Decrease bunions and pain
✓ Improve push off for running/walking
✓ Increase squat ranges
✓ Better foot stability
✓ Improve upright posture and balance
✓ Access more trainable muscles in the feet
✓ Pick things up off the floor w/out bending over
✓ Draw cool things with your feet
🚨 Toe lifts with the big toes pulled towards each other (ADDuction) are a start but it's important to:
👣 Adjust big toe alignment w/ support but train the toe to HOLD that position WITHOUT support
👣 Progress to single big toe lifts (w/out dependence of a strap or the other toe)
👣 Train the big toe down to press down *especially in a more plantar flexed position* to contract the arch muscles that also help ADDuction (bring back toe into alignment)
👣 Gain control of these little guys (and all the muscles between)
