FORecipe for Oha soup🤤🤤
Tips:
1. Must use cocoyam as thickener
2.Use any part of cow meat, it’s even better when you mix different parts.
3. Use good palm oil instead of palm fruit
4.Use original mangala fish not dried catfish, that is not mandala.
5. Use stalk fish head not any other part
6. Use yellow and red Scotch bonnet pepper
7. Must use uziza leaves
8. Must use Ogiri
9. Don’t cover your pot once you add oha leaves.
10. Now follow the process in the video then get ready for premium enjoyment and don’t forget your fufu or

INGREDIENTS
*Palm fruit Extract (check my page for video)
*Stock fish
* Dried Catfish
*Goatmeat
*Bullion
*Salt
*Crayfish
*Bonga fish
*Habenero Pepper
*Ogiri Igbo (dissolved in water)
*Ede/Cocoyam (Boiled & Processed)
*Uziza
*Oha
*Cook your meat until the water drastically reduces, that way the meat will be super flavourful.
*Cooking Oha soup with Akwu or palm fruit extract is better than cooking it with oil flavour wise. Check my page for video on how to make yours in large quantity to save you from stress and cooking time.
*Ogiri and Ede is a must and if you’re to make this soup the traditional way, please don’t add onions.
*Oha and Bitterleaf are similar the difference is that you add Uziza to Oha soup. Check my page for my onugbu/bitterleaf soup.
*When plucking your Oha leaves, dont add the harder leaves it will be hard even after cooking, don’t squeeze it, or chop it, simply tear it bits by bits so it can look beautifully in the soup. Please don’t add the petiole, it will make your Oha soup taste sour (Igbos call it aju ite meaning bad cooking)
*Check your ede/ cocoyam and don’t add much because once you add your Oha into your soup and steam for 1min, the soup will still thicken because Oha leave is also a thickner, so be careful of that.
