AL¿Alguna vez has sentido el "miedo del silencio" en VS Code? ❄️💀
Ayer aprendí por las malas que tener una buena PC no te salva de una mala lógica de datos. Intentar un One-Hot Encoding sobre una columna de IDs con 10,000 registros únicos es la receta perfecta para un proceso infinito.
La terminal no te da errores, el CPU se queda "pensando" y ni el Ctrl+C te salva. Tuve que cerrar todo y replantear el flujo.
La solución: Hashing Trick. Dejé de crear columnas innecesarias y comprimí todo en 8 dimensiones. Resultado: Ejecución instantánea. 🧠⚡

How does AI understand what "red" or "blue" is? It doesn't! 🤖 AI only understands numbers. So it's how AI can understand us!
So, we use a classic trick called One-Hot Encoding. It's a simple translator. It turns "red" into [1, 0, 0] and "green" into [0, 1, 0].
This turns our human words into a simple string of 1s and 0s that the AI can finally understand. 🤯
