Day 2 of my solo Cornwall van trip and all my loose plans went out the window!! I had originally thought I’d head to jubilee pool for half a day and to the rock pool at Mousehole. I’d say I was half put off my the narrow roads getting down there, but also something in my head was telling me I’m exactly where I should be today! So I stayed at Sennen Beach. The surf lesson with @sennensurfcentre was really good! I’ve had a lesson in the past with a different surf centre, but the instructors here I found to be so much better! I’m definitely no expert and I’m in need of maybe 100 more lessons 😂 but I managed to stand up for the first time, so that’s a win for me After spending the day here, I was in the hunt for somewhere to park up for day 3! Day three is the reason I came to Cornwall for the August bank holiday, and I really struggled to find a place to stay for the night. Stay tuned! 🚐 Lake District van trip itinerary Save for Hidden gems that aren't crowded... 📍Thirlmere Infinity pools, a steep hike up but amazing views. Park at Thirlmere information centre which is also a cafe 📍Wasdale Lake, no hike! You can pull up right to the lakeside which is huge so you can always find an empty beach - great for paddle boarding too! You shouldn't stay overnight here but lots of vans did 📍Buckstones Jump, beautiful waterfall walk (3 miles) to natural swimming pools. There's a lovely campsite at the start of this hike as well as a tearooms that serves the best cake. Park art Rydal Hall (10£ but they give you a 5£ voucher to spend at the tearooms) 📍Rydal Falls, you can visit here on the same day as Buckstones jump. Parking at Rydal Hall, it's a short walk through the gardens to the summer house where you can see the waterfall 📍Scafel, just along from Wasdale Lake, you'll find the foots of Scafell pike. Beautiful views & the best sunsets as well as a pub! You can camp at the pub too 📍Tongue Pot, you can visit esk falls at the same time. deep pools perfect for jumping in! A 2 mile walk, with quiet countryside lay-by parking at the Top of the Hardknott Pass 📍Esk Falls, a lovely little hike to lots of waterfalls. Park in the same place as you did for Tongue Pot

Paddleboarding LOVE from ANA ❤️ a huge THANK YOU to all of you who supported and send messages of love this week ! Running a small outdoor business it’s not for the faint hearted ! When my office River Medway had to shut its doors for a while green paint was splurged all over its floor ! We have to revamp so we moved to remote offices and I’m grateful to my friend and business partner Ruth for her help with her beautiful lake hire and our friend at @leybournelakes for the temporary hand in help 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️ All clients who have patiently moved their lessons and followed me to all new locations , to Team Parents and Team Kids during our summer camp ⛺️ you are just awesome 🙌 these are 15 families that have changed diaries , schedule , working in car parks to make these days still possible ! 75 clients this week moved around ! The endless calls for help with local partners 😍 Me heart is full ❤️🫶 I’m tired 😴 sleepless nights , endless hours of admin and juggling 🤹 To my team you are awesome for the reschedules and help !
