HOA top tip that changed my patchwork makes was to add your squares to thin interfacing. Line up the squares, iron them on and then stitch along each ‘line’ and you’ll have perfectly matched up squares. This lovely Liberty bag is now in my Etsy shop x

ANFor those wondering how the scraps are sewn together.
Lay the first piece face up on the batting,
Get the second piece and lay face down on the first piece, stitch a narrow seam down the right side,
Fold the second piece out so the right side is showing, and press then add the third piece face down on top, of the second, and repeat with each piece.
No raw edges.
Don't get distracted by my sewing machine's looks, it's decades old, but it's still going strong and hasn't given me any trouble. It's done a lot for me, so I think I'll keep it around 😊
