DAThe twirliest patchwork skirt there ever was. My daughter had a blast modeling this special piece. She said “Wow, Mom! This skirt is sooo fun to twirl in!” I couldn’t get the idea of seeing it styled with lace socks and boots out of my mind! I hope she gets to go on an adventure and crunch in some fall leaves soon!

Introducing a Tsugi-Hagi skirt（patchwork skirt） that can be made without a pattern!
One size fits all.
Vertical parts and triangular parts are patched together alternately, so the waist area is neat and the flared silhouette widens towards the hem.
The waist is elastic all around, so it is comfortable to wear.
It can be made almost entirely with straight stitches, so it is recommended for beginners to handmade crafts!
This time, I made it using two types of Indian cotton print fabric.
It's up to you to enjoy combining various fabrics!
If you don't want to bother with making the patterns, you can buy the patterns.

型紙不要でできる、ツギハギスカートをご紹介します！
フリーサイズ。
縦長のパーツと三角形のパーツを交互にツギハギしているので、ウエスト周りはすっきりしつつ裾に向かって広がるフレアシルエット。
ウエストは1周ゴムなので、履き心地ラクラクです。
ほとんど直線縫いだけでできちゃうので、ハンドメイド初心者の方にもおすすめ！
今回はインド綿プリント生地2種類を使って作りました。
あなた次第で、いろんな生地の組み合わせを楽しんでいただけます！

MAMy first attempt at making the Roberts Wood Kit! 🧵
I have to say, I absolutely LOVE how it turned out. The unique bow-shaped patchwork was super easy to follow, and there are countless ways to make this skirt special. I chose earthy pastel colors in cotton + bamboo fabrics. The texture is buttery soft, and I couldn’t love this natural feel any more. 💕 Instead of sticking to just three fabric choices as instructed, I mixed the colors randomly. Look how cute it is! 🎀 I was a bit worried about the length since I’m tiny, but it turned out perfect for me. Next time, I want to use some fancy silk fabrics to highlight the distinctive bow pattern and texture. This was my first time trying the Roberts Wood Kit, and my goal is to make all of her sewing patterns! Stay tuned for more projects.
