EMI’m so obsessed with the Phoebe Philo white ballet flats but unfortunately they’re sold out.
I did find this pair and it’s giving the same clean, minimal, slightly undone energy.

Now I’m not saying these designers are defined by their work for Pheobe, but it’s interesting to see how so many current creative directors developed their career working with her. She is one of the most influential designers of the 21st century, and working with her at #Chloé and (especially) #Celine functioned almost like a rite of passage for future creative directors.
Rather than relying on spectacle or trends she emphasized the importance of cut, fabric and proportion. She often gave designers a level of responsibility contributing directly to the development of looks. This equipped her team members with the confidence and experience required to eventually lead some of the biggest brands in the world themselves. RG @opulentstylings
