BAIt’s PIE season! THIS is the easiest pie crust shield that I’ve found, and it is reusable. Find a cake pan, plate or bowl that is slightly larger than the rim of your pie pan. Wrap a few sheets of foil over the pan to form the shield. Cut from the center out, aim for 8 triangles. Roll them back and then place over your pie. You can roll the triangles back further to expose more crust, or roll them inward to cover more. Add to your pie once you want to shield from further browning.
