LOPINKSHIFT! I recently caught @PinkshiftMD as an opener at The Black Cat in Washington DC. They had an excellent set, including their new tune (which had dropped that very day) entitled “Evil Eye.” My fave part came when singer Ashrita Kumar, who has a HUGE voice, announced that they normally don’t do covers, but would try one now. They then shocked me as they launched into my absolute fave SLIPKNOT song “Eyeless.” Here’s a minute or so of the performance.
