COHamley Steakhouse & Saloon in Pendleton is one-of-a-kind.
What started as a 1905 saddle shop is now a massive property with a series of spaces, owned by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation. A western store, cafe and wine bar, steakhouse, saloon, and event spaces were all designed to tell the stories of the Old West.
And of course there is delicious food. Prime rib injected with Wagyu beef fat, a from-scratch bread program, and a kitchen with the ambition to be Oregon’s best steakhouse.
Today, the tribes are shaping the space to tell their own stories, highlighting what’s important to them. A cowboy institution…now owned by the people who lived here long before the cowboy myth was ever written.
