BHThis is the first fight I’ve ever watched back more than once without cringing so hard.
Not because it isn’t cringey — it absolutely is. I can list 100 things I should have done better.
But that’s exactly the point.
I can list them now because I’m finally watching my fights to critique, not to defend myself. Before, I was so focused on the win that any flaw felt uncomfortable, almost threatening. Now, I’m at a stage where I don’t just want to win — I want to win well.
I’m still terrified at the idea of competing outside of club level. But for the first time, I’m genuinely thinking about improvement rather than survival. I’m looking at what I can refine, what I can sharpen, what I can level up.
And I’m even at the point where I want others to critique me. Not because I’m looking for validation, but because I don’t take it personally anymore — I see it as a growth opportunity.
Here’s to embracing the awkward, the imperfect, the uncomfortable… because that’s where progress actually happens. 🥊🔥
