DIY Garden Bug Hotel 🐝💚 for Autumn & Winter seasons We otfen underestimate the role and impact of pollinators in our gardens, they are so essential to our biodiversity. Without them, the pollination process to grow our own food can’t truly happen. So spending some time to make them a cozy home is the least we can do to thank them for their hard work! Here is how to make yours using my dimensions. Wooden planks thickness 1,8cm. Length x width in cm: 23,6x10 (2) upper and below parts 30x10 (2) Sides 20x10 (2) for the T 33,6x23,6 (1) Bottom plank 16,5x 11,8 & 17,5 x 11,8 for the roof A depth of 10cm is enough but you can def make a 15cm depth to have deeper bamboo sticks. I can’t wait to see the bug hotel full of hosts! Happy to be back here after some needed holidays. Take care of yourself and your loves ones! Coneflower or Echinacea purpurea is a spectacular species for the meadow or garden. It is a favorite for bees and butterflies in Summer and one of my favorites to observe and photograph. From bud to bloom to seed head it is a tough plant for all conditions and will bring you stunning moments of natures tight knit relationships in cycle of life.
