And they’re stunning, don’t get us wrong, but when we saw Mostar Bridge, we were blown away by how beautiful it was!
It’s an incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site, and for good reasons 👇
• Originally built in the 16th century during the Ottoman Empire
• It was destroyed in 1993 during the war…
• and rebuilt in 2004 as a symbol of resilience for the country!!
This isn’t just one of the most beautiful bridges in Europe in our point of view, but it’s one of the most meaningful places we’ve visited in the Balkans!

MAThings my kids will grow up thinking are normal, because they’re growing up in Prague:
• riding trams and other public transportation everywhere
• historic buildings like this just being part of the background
• weekend trips to another country
• public playgrounds full of kids all day every day
• taking shoes off at the door
• rohlíky for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• hearing two languages every day
Raising kids in the Czech Republic means some things that still feel special to me will just feel completely normal to them.
