Same meet, one year later! It’s crazy to think in just one year @anoecker_throws28 went from 12th place with a toss of 37’-10” to winning her first state title with a toss of 47’-1”. That’s a little under a 10 foot improvement!!! We were able to improve this much because of a few variables: 1. We created a vision of where we wanted to be during the 2026 season 2. We stuck to the programming plan that was created with our vision in mind 3. We trained 4-5 days consistently throughout the week 4. We recreated big moments in practice that would simulate high stress moments found at bigger competitions 5. We used visualization to create this exact round 6 moment Everything detail was planned out and I believe this is a big contributor to our success. He also added a 1-foot PR in the shot put, improving to 51’9” off a step back. When the PRs start stacking this quickly, it’s usually a sign something big is coming. Mastering No-Feet Fulls this off-season will build your foundation to have MASSIVE tosses in-season!!! No-feet fulls can be done from partial throws, like the stand, half-turn, or a-pull. Focus on keeping the back foot grounded through the delivery. We like the cue “Rotate on bent right” *Right handed thrower* Take anywhere between 8-15 no-feet non reverse full and once you feel positions established, carry over that feeling to reverse fulls! Do this at least 4 sessions per week for 30 days and I promise you will be throwing further!
